Family owned and operated, Talkeetna Backcountry Adventures was founded on the idea that there is adventure waiting out there, no matter what the season. Our goal is to take you off the regular ol' beaten path, show you a different side of Alaska and explore much of its untamed and unseen wilderness. We have activities for every season! Plus, we are committed to making sure you have an unforgettable experience, so we will create adventure packages to cater to your specific wants and needs. Our beautiful custom-built rental cabins are conveniently located right here on our property. During the winter months, we groom our own trails; so, there are plenty of ski trails around the property to be enjoyed. We consider our little homestead to be a "working property", because we are constantly tending to the garden, chickens, sled dogs and even manning the sawmill for our lumber. We welcome you to share our home, space and lifestyle. With a beautiful view of Denali in our backyard, we know you and your family will create unique and lifelong memories while having an adventure of a lifetime.
